Thoughts

Don't want to get too political here but the definition of Socialism is any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. Amoungst others.

Take a look at where the car industry in America is heading. Even if America actually made cars with enough quality that I would consider buying one, it's my freaking choice to by foreign. I would take my VW Wolfsburg Jetta over pretty much any comparable American car. It's built in Germany by people who love automobiles, what's so wrong with that?

As the automotive industry strides to a more socialist, government-regulated state. I advise people to take a look at the underlying cause they are supporting by stating Americans buy from America. Oh, and welcome to 1950!

You forgot about the unions. The unions are that underlying cause that have crippled the US automotive industry.

Also, it's funny how the US owned automotive companies fail to recognize that MOST of the 'foreign' cars are manufactured here anyway!!!
